Michel Hardy-Vallée

Michel Hardy-Vallée is a historian of photography, independent curator, and critic. Currently a visiting scholar at the Gail and Stephen A. Jarislowsky Institute for Studies in Canadian Art, Concordia University, he has published numerous scholarly articles and book chapters on the history of Canadian photography in the twentieth century, the photobook, visual narration, graphic novels, interdisciplinary artistic practices, and the archive. He is also an editorial consultant and has advised museums and private collectors on photographic print acquisitions.
