Summer–Harmony Twenish (she/they) is a queer Algonquin Anishinabe artist from Kitigan Zibi, Quebec. Her work is rooted in a deep love for her culture, homelands, and the women who raised her. Summer‘s work is unapologetically joyful, pissed-off, and tender. Through her playful illustrative style, she depicts the fluidity and diversity of Indigenous existence today, with Indigenous femmes to the front.
