Comic artist D. Boyd is author of the graphic memoir Chicken Rising (Conundrum Press, 2019), nominated for a Doug Wright Award, and illustrator of RM Vaughan’s VE1XE, a graphic poem chapbook (Frog Hollow Press, 2019). She is now at work on her second book with the help of a grant from the Canada Council for the Arts.
