Welcome to the new website and blog!

Welcome to the new Montreal Review of Books website and blog !

We felt it was time set foot in 2012 and to update our website. What do you think? A lot easier to navigate than the previous site, the new website will make reading the Montreal Review of Books online a more pleasurable experience. What’s more, the website will inform you of upcoming mRb and AELAQ events and will have a Poem of the Month (or PoMo as we like to call it) taken from one of the poetry books reviewed in the current mRb. Our first PoMo is Stephanie Bolster’s An Education, taken from her latest poetry collection, A Page from the Wonders of Life on Earth.

We are, however, particularly excited about our new blog and the possibilities it offers. We will, of course, use it to talk about literary events and news, but our new blog gives us the opportunity to publish reviews between issues as well as in-depth pieces on book-related subjects.

Finally, as of the current issue (issue 37), we will be sending out the mRb in PDF format to those who subscribe (in the upper right corner of the site). You can also subscribe to the AELAQ newsletter, which will inform you of local publisher-related events and member news.

Enjoy!
